2026's big comebacks so far: BLACKPINK, BTS and IU
Three long-awaited releases in order of release date — format, number of tracks and title tracks side by side.
BLACKPINK, BTS and IU have each released new music in 2026, and all three came after a long wait. Here they are in order of release.
February 27 · BLACKPINK, DEADLINE
Their third EP. Five tracks, with "GO" as the title track. Track 1, "뛰어 (JUMP)", was released early, on July 11, 2025. First-week sales on Hanteo Chart: 1,774,577 copies.
March 20 · BTS, ARIRANG
The group's first full album after every member completed military service. Fourteen tracks, with "SWIM" as the title track. A world tour of the same name began on April 9.
September 10 · IU, Unknown Planet
A two-song single on which both songs are title tracks, released exactly a year after "Bye, Summer" (September 10, 2025).
