Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains what information PopNote (“the Service”) processes, what it does not collect, how cookies and advertising are used, and how you can exercise your rights. The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea and complies with Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act.
The Service has no accounts, sign-ups or comments, and does not collect names, contact details or other information that directly identifies you.
2. Information we do not collect
- 1. Account or login information
- 2. Personally identifying information such as your name, date of birth, phone number, address or email address
- 3. Payment or financial information
3. Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records access logs — such as IP address, time of access, and browser and operating system — to keep the Service running and to handle outages. These logs are used only for operating the system and not to identify individuals.
4. Visitor statistics
We use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used, such as page views and time on page. This information is not combined with any personally identifying information.
If Google Analytics is used, it may set cookies. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or limit cookies in your browser settings.
5. Advertising and third-party cookies
The Service may show ads through Google AdSense to cover operating costs. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before cookies are used for advertising.
6. Links to other websites
We link to external websites to show where our information comes from. Once you leave the Service, the privacy policy of that website applies.
7. Children
The Service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 (or the minimum age set by the law where you live). The Service does not collect personally identifying information in the first place.
8. Your rights
Because the Service does not collect or store personally identifying information, there is no personal information of yours for us to access, correct or delete. You can still:
- 1. Refuse cookies through your browser settings or the options in sections 4 and 5
- 2. Contact us with questions or objections at the address in section 9
9. Contact
- 1. Responsible person: the operator of PopNote
- 2. Email: climaxna@naver.com
10. Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the changes and their effective date on this page. This policy takes effect on September 14, 2026.
