2.Contract dispute with ADOR (2024–2025)

In August 2024, ADOR replaced Min Hee-jin as its CEO. Min called the decision unilateral, and she resigned from HYBE and ADOR in November 2024.

On November 13, 2024, the members sent ADOR a formal notice alleging major contract violations and demanding corrective action within 14 days, including Min's reinstatement. At a press conference on November 28, 2024, all five members — Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein — announced that they considered their exclusive contracts terminated as of the next day. ADOR disputed this and filed a lawsuit to confirm that the contracts remained valid.

The members then promoted under the name NJZ. On March 21, 2025, a Seoul court granted ADOR's request for a preliminary injunction barring the members from independent activities.

3.Court ruling and return to ADOR (2025–2026)

On October 30, 2025, the Seoul Central District Court ruled that the exclusive contracts remain valid until 2029. It found that Min's dismissal did not by itself breach the contracts and that the members' other claims were not sufficient grounds for termination. The members' legal representative said at the time that they would appeal.

On November 12, 2025, ADOR announced that Haerin and Hyein would return, respecting the court's ruling. Minji, Hanni and Danielle said separately through their lawyer that they also wished to return, and ADOR said it would meet each of them.

On December 29, 2025, ADOR announced that Hanni would stay with the company, that talks with Minji were continuing, and that it had terminated Danielle's contract, citing a breakdown of trust. ADOR also filed a damages lawsuit against Danielle, a member of her family and Min Hee-jin. Danielle's legal team rejects the claims, arguing that NJZ activities involved all members and that she is being singled out.

On July 22, 2026, ADOR released a video and photos featuring Minji, Hanni, Haerin and Hyein for the group's fourth anniversary, but it has not announced a comeback, saying plans will be shared once discussions with the members are complete.
