Taeyong (Lee Tae-yong) is a South Korean rapper, singer and songwriter from Seoul. He leads NCT 127 and also promotes through NCT U and as a solo artist.

1.NCT and NCT 127 (2016–present)
Taeyong debuted through NCT U in April 2016 and became the leader of NCT 127 when the Seoul-based unit launched in July.
2.Solo work and military service (2023–2025)
He became the first NCT member to make an official solo debut with SHALALA in June 2023 and followed it with TAP in February 2024. Taeyong served in the Republic of Korea Navy from April 2024 until December 2025 and returned to solo performances in January 2026.
