IU releases Unknown Planet, her first new music in a year
The single came out at 6 p.m. KST on September 10. Both songs, "Unknown Planet" and "Dear my crazy soulmate", are title tracks.
IU released the single Unknown Planet (이 별로부터) at 6 p.m. KST on September 10, 2026. Her agency, EDAM Entertainment, announced the release date by posting a comeback teaser on its official social media at midnight on September 4.
One year to the day
Her previous new song was "Bye, Summer", released on September 10, 2025. The new single arrived exactly one year later, on the same date.
Tracks
The single has two songs, "Unknown Planet" and "Dear my crazy soulmate". The Korean music service Bugs lists both as title tracks, and both have music videos.
