j-hope (born Jung Ho-seok) is a South Korean rapper, dancer, songwriter and record producer, and a member of BTS. He was born on February 18, 1994, in Gwangju.
1.Solo work
j-hope released his first mixtape, Hope World, in 2018, and the single "Chicken Noodle Soup" featuring Becky G on September 27, 2019.
His first studio album, Jack In The Box, came out on July 15, 2022. He released the single "on the street" with J. Cole on March 3, 2023, and HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1 on March 29, 2024.
2.Lollapalooza (2022)
In 2022, j-hope headlined a main stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago, the first South Korean artist to do so.
3.Military service
j-hope enlisted on April 18, 2023, and was discharged on October 17, 2024.
