i-dle (Korean: 아이들; stylized in lowercase), formerly known as (G)I-DLE, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment. They debuted on May 2, 2018, with the EP I am. Their fans are called Neverland.

2.Lineup

The five members are Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi and Shuhua. Soyeon is the leader. Yuqi is from China and Shuhua from Taiwan.

Soojin, an original member, left the group in August 2021.

3.Contract renewal (2024)

Soyeon announced on November 30, 2024, while accepting the Record of the Year award at the MelOn Music Awards, that all five members would stay together. Cube Entertainment confirmed on December 2, 2024, that every member had renewed her contract.

4.From (G)I-DLE to i-dle (2025)

On May 2, 2025, the group's seventh anniversary, Cube Entertainment announced that the group would be known as i-dle. The agency said dropping the "G" and the parentheses meant the group would not be defined by gender and would not limit its music and concepts. The EP We are followed on May 19, 2025.

5.Albums and EPs

Their studio albums are I NEVER DIE (2022) and 2 (2024). The EP We made, led by "Gimme Dat Love", was released on July 6, 2026.
