G-DRAGON (born Kwon Ji-yong, Korean: 권지용) is a South Korean rapper, singer and producer. He has been a member and the leader of the boy band BIGBANG since its debut in 2006, and released his first solo album, Heartbreaker, in August 2009.

1.Move to Galaxy Corporation (2023)

Galaxy Corporation announced on December 20, 2023, that it had signed G-DRAGON. He had been with YG Entertainment since 2006.

2.Übermensch era (2024–2025)

He returned with the single "HOME SWEET HOME" on November 22, 2024, and performed at the MAMA Awards the next day.

His third studio album, Übermensch, was released on February 25, 2025 — his first full album since COUP D'ETAT (2013). The Übermensch world tour, his first tour in eight years, opened at Goyang Stadium on March 29–30, 2025.

3.Honors

At the 2025 Korean Popular Culture and Arts Awards on October 23, 2025, the South Korean government awarded him the Okgwan Order of Cultural Merit, the first K-pop idol to receive it. He was also named Artist of the Year at the 2025 MAMA Awards.
